Fujimoto Keiichiro is a Contemporary Artist,

born in 1998 in Fukuoka Prefecture.

After graduating from high school, he pursued a career as an artist and entered the Tokyo University of the Arts (Tōkyō Geidai). Since his graduation in 2023, he has been working as an artist. “It is important to have your own philosophy and perspective, rather than simply accepting what you see and hear. Don’t just believe what you see.”

The artist aims to reconstruct the way we interact with society in the future by linking the mechanisms of our appreciation of art with societal values, thereby focusing on the social significance of art.  We are on the verge of another industrial revolution, sparked by advancements in IT and AI. There may come a time when the term “industrial revolution,” which has historically symbolized human progress, will gradually shift to imply the extinction of humanity. Rather than viewing art exclusively as a human-made product, Fujimoto believes it should be integrated into and developed as part of society, urging us to rethink human taste and warmth.

As a contemporary artist living in the present, he seeks to create a new perspective in art history.  He promotes his artistic work and creative concept under the banner of “CONNECTISM.”
