“My name is Yemu Quan. It doesn’t have any particular meaning. In my free time, I enjoy drawing. I haven’t had any formal art education. I left school in my second year of high school due to health reasons, and I sometimes dream about being back in class — maybe that’s something I still think about with a bit of longing. When I was a child, I used to draw every day, mostly Transformers. Those drawings were eventually thrown away when i was a child. But I still remember the joy of making them. I’ve always been somewhat introverted and now spend most of my time at home making art. Most of my perceptions come from loneliness. But I just very enjoy the process in creating.”
